The Right Honourable Lord Justice Henry Brooke, retired, served as Lord Justice of Appeal, England since 1996. He was Vice-President of the Court of Appeal (Civil Division), 2003 -2006. He has served as English High Court Judge, Queen's Bench Division from 1988 until 1996. He holds an M.A. degree from Oxford University, 1961. He was called as a barrister at the Inner Temple in 1963 and was appointed Q.C. in 1981. He was counsel to Sizewell B Nuclear Reactor Inquiry from 1983 to 1985 and DTI Inspector, House of Fraser Holdings Plc. 1987-1988. He was Chairman, Race Relations Committee of the Bar Council from 1989 to 1991 and Chairman of the Law Commission from 1993 to 1995. He was President, The Society for Computers and Law, 1992-2001 and Judge in charge of modernization from 2001 - 2004. Lord Justice Brooke was Chairman of the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies (I.S.T.D.) from 1997 to 2001.
