Andrew C. Normand, C.B.

Andrew C. Normand, C.B., was appointed a Sheriff in Scotland in May 2003, and currently sits in the Sheriff Court in Glasgow.
Prior to his appointment as Sheriff, Mr. Normand served in the Scottish Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, and held various senior positions.
He was the Crown Agent for Scotland from 1996 to 2003.
In 2002 he conducted a review of aims and objectives in the Scottish criminal justice system, and his report of proposals for the integration of aims, objectives and targets in the system was published in March 2003.
Mr. Normand was made a Companion of the Bath in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2001.
