Dr. Daniel David Ntanda Nsereko

Dr. Daniel David Ntanda Nsereko was elected a Judge of the International Criminal Court by the Assembly of States Parties in December 2007.
He is Professor of Law at the University of Botswana, after having served as Head of the Department of Law from 1985 to 1993.
He received his LL.B. from the University of East Africa, his M.C.J. from Howard, his LL.M. and J.S.D. from New York University and his Certificate in International Law from the Hague Academy.
He is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Uganda.
He is a member of the Editorial Council of the Journal of Church and State, and a member of the editorial board of Criminal Law Forum.
Dr. Nsereko spent 1993-94 at the University of British Columbia in Canada as Walter Owen Visiting Professor of Law.
He actively participated in efforts for establishing the International Criminal Court as part of the N.G.O.Coalition for the establishment of the International Criminal Court.
