Henk Marquart Scholtz

Henk A. Marquart Scholtz is currently Secretary-General of the International Association of Prosecutors, a position held since September 1996.

In April 2000, he was appointed part-time Justice of Appeal in the Court of Appeal at Amsterdam, and in 2002, he was appointed part-time Justice of Appeal in the Court of Appeal at The Hague.

From 1997 to the present, he is Advocate-General, Court of Appeal, Leeuwarden.

Since 1989, he serves as Acting Military Prosecutor.

He also acts as an Expert for the European Union and the Council of Europe. Between 1973 and 1997, Mr. Marquart Scholtz was Public Prosecutor in several District Courts in Netherlands.

He was granted his D.R., Free University of Amsterdam in 1970.
